Why we do what we do
Our planet is rapidly suffering from over-consumption and increased consumerism while the population continues to grow and natural resources continue to dwindle. Combine this with the literal tons of material waste that gets discarded on a daily basis and its no wonder why we are facing the most unprecedented environmental crisis of our time. We believe strongly that changing how we consume and discard products and materials will help to mitigate the immense crisis we find ourselves in.
Getting rid of the old items to replace them with the newer version of the same item continues to be encouraged more and more. Our economy has become dependent on the purchasing of goods that should be considered a long-lasting product but instead is seen as disposable shortly after purchase. This push to buy more stuff continues to deplete our natural resources while creating an addiction to “things” and the need to have the NEWEST “thing” even if it’s the same "thing" we already have (I see you Apple I-phones).
We also happen to love building and helping people reconsider what is possible with currently existing materials.
